Gem City Ratnapura 2025 is the region’s most anticipated gem and jewellery trade exhibition, held in the heart of Sri Lanka’s gem industry—Ratnapura. Known as the “City of Gems,” Ratnapura is world-renowned for producing extraordinary gemstones, some of which are showcased at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
Presented by the National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB), Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), and industry associations such as the Lanka Gem Dealers and Miners Association, this second edition of the exhibition will celebrate the brilliance and legacy of Sri Lanka’s gem trade.
