The Chairman, of the Department Tender Committee on behalf of the National Gem and Jewellery Authority invites sealed bids for Disposal of a Used Vehicle . ( Peugeot-508, KS – xxxx, Year of manufacture – 2011, Registration Date-2012, Pearl white)

The following used Vehicle could be inspected from 07.03.2025 to 27.03.2025 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the National Gem and Jewellery Authority Premises.

A Complete set of Bidding Documents could be purchased on the submission of a written application to the Assistant Director (Procurement), Procurement Division, National Gem and Jewellery Authority, No 12, “Macksons Tower”, Alfred House Gardens, Colombo 03, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00 +2.5% SSCL (Rs.87.50) + 18% VAT (Rs.645.75) (Total – Rs.4,233.25) to the Cashier of the NGJA, on normal working days between 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. from 07.03.2025 to 27.03.2025. The mode of payment will be in cash.

Bids must be sent to the, The Chairman – Department Tender Committee, National Gem and Jewellery Authority, No 12, “Macksons Tower”, Alfred House Gardens, Colombo 03, by registered post or deposited in the Tender Box available at National Gem and Jewellery Authority, 4th Floor Supply Division, before 10.00 a.m. on 28.03.2025. Please indicate as “Disposal of a used Vehicle -2025” on the top left hand corner of the sealed envelope.

The value of the Bid Security mentioned in the bid documents shall be paid to the cashier- NGJA and the original receipt should be submitted along with the completed bidding documents.

Bids will be opened at National Gem and Jewellery Authority, 7th Floor Auditorium at 10.05 a.m. on 28.03.2025. The bids received after 10.00 a.m. will be rejected and returned unopened. The bidder or his representative may participate at the bid opening.

The cost of transporting the disposed relevant vehicle should be borne by the Bidders themselves.
National Gem and Jewellery would not be taken any responsibility on the above Vehicle after the disposal.
