AML-CFT Awareness during GEM CITY EXHIBITION 2025

SESSION ON THE APPLICATION OF ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND COUNTERING TERRORIST FINANCING REGULATIONS IN THE GEM AND JEWELLERY INDUSTRY IN SRI LANKA AT THE GEM CITY RATHNAPURA INTERNATIONAL GEM & JEWELLERY EXHIBITION 2025.

The National Gem and Jewellery Authority, Sri Lanka proudly presented the Gem City Rathnapura International Gem and Jewellery Exhibition 2025 for the 2^nd consecutive year on 15^th to 17^th August at the Grand Silver Ray, Pelmadulla unraveling the brilliance and legacy of Sri Lanka’ s gem trade.

In parallel with the Gem City Rathnapura International Gem and Jewelry Exhibition 2025, an awareness session was held focusing on the application of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorist Financing Regulations in the gem and jewellery industry in Sri Lanka. The session was featured by the expert resource person, Mr. Sanjeewa Guruge, Deputy Director, Financial Intelligent Unit, Sri Lanka.
